Elena Stiehler grew up in Brighton, NY. She began riding at a young age and spent her junior years training and competing on both the local and rated hunter/jumper circuits. Throughout college, Elena continued to train and compete, as well as groom, at various 'A' and 'AA' rated venues. She also rode and competed for her school's varsity IHSA equestrian team. As a young professional, Elena worked as the assistant trainer at an established show and boarding facility where she trained and instructed a broad range of both horses and riders, at home and at competitions. Passionate about both her students' and horses' goals, Elena believes that success is best achieved through dedication to a strong  foundation when in the saddle, and proper understanding of the horse when out of it. She offers a comprehensive, communicative approach to her training and strives to foster confidence and accomplishment through knowledge of the horse, proper technique, and commitment to excellence.
